Due to the lack of registration, we have decided to cancel the event.

Important Notes

  • Pre-register by June 11 to be included in our prize drawing

  • Payments can be done via e-transfer to email: salma@offgridadventure.ca. Use code: POKER RIDE

  • Additional poker cards can be purchased for $5 for each extra card

  • Registrations will be accepted on the day of the event (debit and cash)

  • Waivers MUST be filled out to participate

  • Maps of the ride routes will be posted at least one week before the event

  • Camping Facilities:

    • free firewood (while supplies last).

    • potable water is available

    • washroom/shower log cabin

    • 7 box stalls (10x10)

Poker Ride Rules

ALL RIDERS MUST BE ON THE TRAIL BY 11 AM.

Anyone that can ride on their own and has their own horse can participate.

Participants in the Poker Ride will be playing 5 Card Stud where riders will stop at 5 stations along a designated trail and draw one card at each station to build their poker hand. There will be staff and riders along the trail to assist anyone in need.

Registered riders can begin the Poker Ride anytime between 9 to 11 am.

Riders must stay on the designated trails.
No duplicate cards can be used. Participants must redraw that card if an identical card is drawn.

Example:
An ace of spades is drawn at the first stop and an ace of spades is drawn at the third stop the participant must draw an additional card at the third stop.

All participants must present the appropriate Poker Ride Score Card to be marked before the card is drawn. In the event of a tie each participant with the tying hands will draw one card from one deck of cards. High card wins.

ALL DECISIONS BY THE JUDGES ARE FINAL!

After Havelock Horse Show, Stay & Poker Ride

Coming from the Havelock Horse Show?

Stay overnight in our horse camping section, allow the horses to rest & enjoy the evening.

Sunday join us for breakfast and enjoy the poker ride.

This option is $100 per family, includes:

​

  • Stall/paddock use for Sat
    and Sun

  • Poker ride admission

  • Adventure Park admission

  • campsite for Sat June 17

  • breakfast on Sun June 18

Havelock Horse Show, Stay & Poker Ride 

This is for paid Havelock Horse Show participants only! Does NOT include the show fees!

Stay overnight in our horse camping section, while at the Havelock Horse Show. Then 

Sunday join us for breakfast and enjoy the poker ride.

This option is $125 per family, includes:

​

  • Stall/paddock use for Sat
    and Sun

  • Poker ride admission

  • Adventure Park admission

  • campsite for Fri June 16 and Sat June 17

  • breakfast on Sun June 18
